BE ENCOURAGED
BY TESTIMONY
"I really hit rock bottom… I was crying every single day… and I didn’t want anybody to know… but I was miserable inside. I just didn’t know my place and my purpose… I filled the void through eating, drinking, and pointless things... I was contemplating of ending it all. I was a mother of two, had a six-figure career, I had it all seemingly...
Then God revealed Himself and said I needed to wake up… and I was seeking who was this, who was I talking to…" —

STEP 4
JOURNAL
YOUR
THOUGHTS
Think and journal your answers to the following questions to go deeper into today's scripture and meditation.
.
Why is it so important that David acknowledged his sin before God in Psalm 51:3?
.
What does it say about David's heart that he earnestly sought to be cleansed and forgiven?
.
What does the Lord desire of you today?
.
Why is it important to respond today and not wait?
David wrote this Psalm recording his heart's lament about his sin and his request to be forgiven. Write a letter to the Lord from your heart to His. Release your heart to Him concerning your lament of your sin and make your request for Him to cleanse you with thanksgiving! (Be sure to read 1 John 1:9 when doing this!)
LIVE IT OUT
The key to growing in the Lord is to not only "hear" God's Word but to apply it to our lives.
